Bluegrass technicians will man cooler change out around-the-clock. We will first hammer the refractory in a cooler with the Brokk 150. After completing work on the cooler, the foundation supporting the cooler will be hammered into rubble.
Diamond wire sawed in support of steel mill refurbishing.
Bluegrass technicians wire sawed three, twenty-five feet by six feet diameter steel encased caissons then segmented into thirds. Twenty-four core samples were then taken from each for experimental testing at Auburn University. One of the three concrete caissons will be utilized and extend eighty feet deep to support the new bridge.
Cut bridge caisson's 60' underwater.
Provided personnel and equipment to diamond wire saw fourteen piers and two bascules.
Diamond wire sawed footer sections for bridge expansion retrofits.
Bluegrass technicians re-cut the slot in a Tennessee dam. Total square feet of concrete cut was approximately three thousand feet.
Performed segmentation of bridge columns for removal.
Bluegrass diamond wire cut the carbon steel reactor nozzle mock-up. The nozzle was 55” in diameter with a 28” annulus.
Bluegrass performed a technology demonstration of the Marcrist MSW300 Wall Concrete Shaver, mounted to a remotely operated Brokk 250, as part of the FIU-HCET technology assessment program. Six hundred feet of uncoated concrete walls, coated concrete ceilings and coated brick walls were removed at 1/4" depths.
Diamond wire sawing of a section of the AUX Building Rail Road Bay Concrete Wall; 17'x3'7"x1'4" thick; Diamond wire sawed 12" off the top of existing man-way.
Turnkey removal of discharge ring for turbine and generator upgrade. Provided diamond wire sawing, robotic hammering, and core drilling for concrete removal.
Diamond wire sawed slot for floating mooring bit.
Cut and removed 2 end risers from a steel boiler plate which were 11' diameter and 5" thick with a refractory lining 10 inches thick.
Dimaond wire sawed 40" hexagons on the riser piers, core drilled over 600 holes for utilization of expansive grout, and Brokked the 1,000 yards of concrete to a rubble.
Diamond wire sawed 3 motor support pedestals flush, 1 compressor foundation flush, and 3' x3' vertical cut to isolate the conduit block from the I-D foundation.
Removed a concrete section from a plug cut for a pipe insert.
Phase one of five for foundation removal of twenty-five total pump piers. Each mobilization will include diamond wire sawing of five piers in half and flush for removal so that new foundations can be installed.
